One of our aim is to develop a fund, which will support the educational activities of young migrants, who, due to their own financial situation or that of their family, are not able to afford to pay for things like studying materials, tutoring, entrance exam fees, tuition fees or fees for a vocational retraining program, babysitting during the time of the classes etc.

In the case that you make a contribution, we will sign a donation contract with you. You can use this contract as a tax document to deduct the amount of your donation from your tax base. (This applies to individuals as well as to corporate entities).

Whom contribute concretely?

If you are not indifferennt to the fate of these young people and you are willing to become their "sponsor", you can choose from the following list of people who are in need of help right now. Alternatively you can also consult with Lukáš Radostný, regarding the form of your aid. He can also provide you with all other important information.

Ahmed, Sudan

Mr. Ahmed is 34 years old asylum seeker. He has been living for 5 months in the Czech republic. He lives here alone without his family.
What and why does he ask for:

  • submission for czech language course - Mr. Ahmed would like to finish university education in the field of livestock production. He has already mastered bachelorship in this field in his domicile of origin, so he would like to finish master degree at Czech aegy university in the Czech republic. Intensive language preparation is necessary presumption. He already got remedial classes once a week within volunteer programme. Intensive language preparation is demenden for academic level of czech language.

Faruk, Sudan

Mr. Faruk is 24 years old student of electrical faculty of  ČVUT in Prage. He got asylum in 2004 in the Czech republic. He stays in integration centre for asylum seekers. Mr. Faruk lives here alone without his family.
What and why does he ask for:

  • Arabic-czech and Czech-arabic dictionary (publisher SetOut; published 2006, authors: F. Ondráš, P. Zemánek, A. Moustafa a N. Obadalová, recommended price CZK 930,-).  Mr Faruk systematically works on improving of his czech language. Still study of any kind of language is impossible without dictionary. Not even czech language is exception.
  • optical mouse for PC -  personal computer is necessary help for study. Mr Faruk completes his PC by the components, which he gets from his friends. In this time he needs some final components.

 

What we currently need for our clients

  • Educational programme of czech language for foreigners. "New Czech Step by Step" + CD (Lída Holá author). Price of publication (including CD) is CZK 880,- (including VAT). You can fing here further information where you can buy the publication.

  • We seek (new even used) books, dictionaries, schoolbooks and classified publications, which are usable for preparation of entrance examinations to high schools and universities and school leaving examinations  as well as textbooks for high schools and academic scripts.The year of issuance is not crucial, unless it ideologically effects contant of the  book.   • Stationery, notebooks, writing-pads etc.
